Dear Fellow Golfers,
It is getting close to our Annual Golf Day (Friday 11th October) and I am writing to you as you were involved either as a player or attended the evening Presentation Dinner last year or have been involved in previous years. I have arranged the day with the Golf Club and I am now looking for confirmation of attendees for the event.
The cost of the day will be just £37.00 per head which will include 18 holes of golf and a two course meal and coffee to follow (£19 for Etchinghill GC members) & presentation of prizes. There has been an increase in cost from the Golf Club, but I have kept the cost down.
This is very much a fun day, while raising funds for the Cricket Club. It is also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, as well as our good friends from the Hampshire Stragglers, who we compete against annually for the Sumpter Trophy. As they are the current holders, we need a good attendance to ensure that we put up a good fight to wrestle it back! I will be putting some posters up around the club, as well as circulation on the website, but it would be helpful if you could email me to confirm your attendance and a £15.00 deposit will secure your playing spot (I will email account payment details on your confirmation). If you are a non-golfer, but wish to attend the evening presentation, then this is possible at a cost of £19. Remember, first come, first served!
I therefore look forward to hearing from you and please ‘spread the word’ as we wish the event to be as successful as it was last year. So with the good weather, there is no excuse in not getting some practice in and I look forward to signing you up for the day!
